The Kuopio Academy of Design is a school, open for everyone, that offers basic-level art studies and courses on design every term for children, teens and adults. Now also remotely!
The purpose of the projects is to increase design knowledge and education in Finland. Our goal is to develop the field together with businesses, organizations and others and to increase collaboration and social benefits through design education.
Piispantalo’s premises in Kuopio are available for rental for different kinds of meetings and events.
DESIGN Kuopio Residency offers international designer and artist guests facilities and time to focus on production or research.
Design Union is in charge of producing professional design services. We design, produce and implement design training, courses and study modules for municipalities, organizations, companies and communities in accordance with basic art education. We also coach teachers’ pedagogical capabilities.
